Microsoft offers a number of scholarships in technology fields each year to undergraduate students enrolled at American universities. The company is especially interested in receiving applications from students with demonstrated financial need and who belong to traditionally underrepresented minorities, including women, the disabled, African Americans, Hispanics and Native Americans. Recipients receive either full or partial tuition scholarships, disbursed directly to the recipient's school.
