Its a jainism way of foregiveness.. today is savtsari & peoples will say this word to all their dear ones for any wrongdoing due to any act , word,or body knowingly or unknowingly .. some times in life peoples hurts other people but he never no that someone hurts by him/her acts. so its very spiritual platform to forget all these things. its celebrated every year in on samvatsari day..it comes one time in every year....
