Hello every one I wanted to acquire detail knowledge of property tax viz. valuation of property, calculation methodology of property tax, assessment procedure, penalties etc for Navi Mumbai Area only which comes under NNMC. I m not getting a proper source of it. If u can help I would be thankful.

Property Tax is levied on all Lands and Buildings in New Delhi and it can be paid online. The rate of taxes are determined by Council from year to year basis. Property tax is a state levy unlike Income tax on house property which is charged by the central government. The best part of property tax is that the amount which is collected is further utilised for the improvement of the local infrastructure like maintenance of roads and schools, repairing roads, etc. There can be differences in the Property Tax in accordance to different locations within a city, and between cities and municipalities.
