Mentioning of din

Hello ,

I have come across to  following in various articles to mention DIN etc ....but i did not found this either in rules or in The Companies Act , 2013 anywhere

" director’s of the company has to mention their name & DIN (Director Identification Number) with their signature i.e. all the documents containing the signature of director, director’s name & DIN shall also be mentioned along with their Signature."

 

Please suggest where the above is written .

Pl refer 5th Proviso to Rule 7 of Companies (Registration Offices & Fees) Rules 2014.

 

 

Dear Sir

Thanks for the information -i am producing here the extracts of that provision below.

"Provided also that any correspondences (physically or electronically) and documents to be filed by any person shall contain name, designation, address, membership number or Director Identification Number, as the case may be, of the person signing such document and make sure correctness thereof and in no case, correspondence, merely with signature and writing authorised signatory shall be acceptable. "

 

Query :-

1) This is applicable only for ROC/ MCA  related filing ? or any documents submitted any where ??

 

please help with  more clarifications
