As i am newly qualified CA,completed my articleship & also GMCS course,now waiting for my ORIGINAL MARKSHEET & CERTIFICATE,& want to apply for Membership number at ICAI ,what is the procedure to be followed for this ?

you can fill Form 2 even now and may attach copy of your result and other required documents.No need to wait for original marksheet.

Documents
Form 2 & ID card
The certified copies (By CA or Gazetted Officer)
1. Education Qualification (like B. Com) if permission taken
2. Mark Sheets of CA Final Exams both groups (even internet download)
3. Training completion certificate
4. GMCS Certificate
5. High School/Higher Secondary School certificate as proof of date of birth
6. If any course permission is taken from ICAI copy of permission letter if any
7. If there is change in signature (letter to secretary for change of sign with new and old sign duly attested by CA)
8. Fee DD
For Membership only Rs. 2000/-
For Membership & CP both Rs. 4000/-
