NO.......Only employer can claim medical reimbursements ..its exempt upto INR 15000/-

Yes u can claim 15000/- as deduction u/s 80D, if you have bills. there is no problem claiming extra deduction in ITR which was not shown in form 16.

medical bill r required to be submited, if deduction is to be claimed in form 16. if you are claiming it in ITR not in form 16, it is not mandatory to submit it to employer.
