Can company reimburse the medical expences of an employee for which he has not submitted supporting bills after deducting TDS? Please note that our company has fixed a specific amount as medical reimbursement annual entitlement.

dear friend
in my opinion company is taking a wrong action.reimbursement means paying against the actual expenses that means on producing bills.this is the right manner.
if a company has made a maximum limit of reimbursement then it is correct way.
action taken by ur company is not against the law and company can cliam it as expenses.there is lots of way but the way ur company is maintaning policy is not correct according to my view.

Companies eligible to pay medical allowance under salary to any employee, for this no need to collect any supportings. But Without suporting of bills they are not allow to book direct medicle reimbursment under company exps. if it is under salary head, than ok..
