Yes Mr. Arvind is absolutely right the term INTER-SE MEANS:- Between or among themselves.
The term inter-se has been used in SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeover) Regulations, 1997 under Regulation 3(1)(e)
Which provides that any transfer between or among the below mentiond persons will be considered as inter-se transfer and the certain regulation of these Regulations would not apply on such transfer.

Agreed with what's been said above.
Amongst my CA friends though, "inter se" means an old student who has yet to clear CA inter.
