What does the word "Articled" mean in "Articled Assistant" ???

As per to my knowledge your question is not appropriate. There is nothing word called "Articled Assistant", its Article or Assistant.
Dont know surely, if u come to know reply me.

Mr. Jimmit Mehta I believe u have'nt yet seen the Training Guide,first go & check ur Training Guide for the spelling, and for your information the word is "Articled".

articled clerk is who does articleship for 3 years and audit assitant is who takes traning for 4 years, if any one can throw more light on it, please do so.

if u bother to check in the dictionary.....u wud find that the word 'Articled' is totally apt, see below:
