I passed CPT in May 2007 with a score of 130... But joined Bcom Regular, so couldnot continue CA then..
Now I am a graduate in commerce from Bangalore University (with 84%) ...
I really want to join Mcom in SRCC Delhi...
I want to become an Inspiring Teacher in future...
But deep down my heart somewhere i want to pursue CA also...
I am in a real confused state...
Is it possible to pursue Mcom simultaneously with CA...???
Is it hectic to take up both n difficult to manage together..??
How long it will take for me to finish CA studies...??
Or should i just give up CA aspiration and go on with just Mcom..??
[SORRY FOR LONG AND SILLY QUESTIONS... I'M NOTHING BUT CONFUSED..]

Hey Ann there is nothing silly in it. You don't have to apologise.
Well... You've scored pretty good marks in your CPT and graduation as well.
If you have a flair for teaching, there is nothing like it. Go ahead and follow your heart.
I don't think you need a M.Com from SRCC to get into teaching.
There are so many CA's out here who have a Postal M.Com Degree and do exceedingly well in the education industry.
But do remember if you are planning to get into a reputed college as a Lecturer you may need to do a M.phil and P.hd as well in addition to your M.Com
There is absolutely no difficulty in doing M.Com along with CA. infact ICAI has tied up with some reputed university's like IGNOU. This makes life much easier for you. You are exempt from writing most of the papers.
Regarding the time frame, you will have to enroll for the IPCC scheme and wait for atleast nine months before you take up the exam. During which you have to complete an orientation and ITT programme.
After getting thru' your exams you will have to do your articleship for a 3 year period. During the last six months of your articleship you can take up your finals.
Taking into consideration all the above, will be able to complete your CA and M.com in a time span of 4 - 4.5 years from now.
Hope you are clear now. All the Best. God Bless!
