You can go for CFA coz CFA is one of the best and most reputed degree in finance.
High proffessional degrees takes time but it push you towards more safer side in professional field,
C.A. degree will take a time of 3 to 5 years than why not CFA...??? A much more better and internationally reputed degree. It takes time but is more fruitful

Since I may end up taking break this year i want to add some credentials to elevate my profile. I am aware of my accounting and finance course offered by my reputed institution like CPA, CMA, CA, CFA, CGMA etc. i myself is a student of ICAI but as CA will take a lot of time and I'm not ready for it. Mr.Uzair, have you analyzed the reasons because of which you failed perfoming at exams like CAT? And one more question is did you give any other entrance exams along with CAT like XAT,IIFTetc. From the analysis that I can make, I can really advice you a few things.
-Your English needs a lot of improvement. Start reading(actually solving exercises) books such as Wren and Martin and Norman Lewis Word Power made easy.
-Read newspapers like Economic Times for knowledge and The Hindu for Lingual Proficiency.
Though you have said that you are a student of ICAI, you have not disclosed the stage in which you are. If you are a final student then go ahead and concentrate only on Final examinations. If you are an IPCC student then don't think of taking too much of strain in the process of adding some extra certifications in your resume. I would suggest you to concentrate on clearing both the levels.
If you have just enrolled into the ICAI course as a Bachelor Degree holder then just concentrate on your internship and preparation for IPCC and Final.
