Is dividend to be added for computation of Book Profits for MAT

Yes dividend paid should be added back

Dividend is usually a part of net profit. so special treatment wont be necessary

Profits and gains from business profession has a seperate calculation.
dividend is added back to computer the tax on income before payout.

Under mat computation profits as per section 28 is not relevant.

in mat computation book profits are taken
