My frnd there is no fix ratio of theory and pratical portion in the exams..

But generally, theory part of cost FM comes in between 20-30 marks, dont consider it as final..

In tax, its a blend of prarical and theory, with weightage on practicl part,

I dont see any use of wasting your time by use of Pencil. Moreover, I am not sure if its allowed or not..

You can use black pen in between, to highlight any specific point..

Pls avoid use of abbreviations, as it gives a negative impression to examiner..like using ST for service tax for IT for income tax doesnot give a decent look..

See.Accounts 100% practical questions.

Law-theoretical and case based problems of company law, ethics 20 marks and communication 20 marks fully theoretical.

Cost and FM-Generally questions worth of 30 marks are asked each time from theory part as per past trends.

TAX-50 marks Income tax,25 marks VAT.25 marks Service tax..Of 50 marks of ST and VAT, approximately 30 are of theory.

hey guys i am new to this forum..

i hav a doubt..

if i have applied for 2 groups in ipcc.. and planning to write one group..

will it be like 1st group 1st attempt and later on when i write the next group that also will be 1st attempt.. or will it be second attempt.. as i have already applied for both groups earlier??

Thanks in advance

hi pintu
i think u have applied to both groups for ipcc in the admission form
this gives u a choice
1) you can simply study all 7 subjects of both groups and fill in both groups in examination form and do both the groups ,i.e., if your exams are in may 2012 then all 7 subjects in may only with 1 holiday in between each group.
2)You can study for subjects of either of one group and fill in examination form of that group and give exams of that group in may(for example).

Hope this has helped you.
