Hi, I have been studying Direct Tax from T.N Manoharan but after having a look at Singhania, I found it to be better and very detailed as compared to Manoharan. What shall I do? I am a bit confused!!! Regards, Vikram |

Singhania is good for practical and Manoharan is good for theory.

Thank you all for your comments. Using of either Manoharan or Singhania depends on how much time you have got for your attempt. If you have got good time, then go for Singhania, but if you are short of time, then go for Manoharan. Because in the absense of time, if you go for Singhania and unfortunately you cannot complete it, then the mental pressure at the time of Direct Taxes paper can prove to be troublesome. |

Thanks. However, after having a look at Singhania...I reckon that it is a bit too detailed for our exams but after reading Manoharan I feel it does not cover some important points. Confused to the hilt.... LOL

Hi Vikram
Stick to only one book i.e MANOHARAN as u r already following it,.U will appreciate that it hardly matters which book one is followingbcoz concepts r more important, concentrate on them as the saying goes too many cook spoil the broath.
