Dear Sir,
We are in Special Economic Zone. The GST portal notified us as NON SEZ and put us in to trouble to enter sales invoices in GSTR1. In this regard we had written a numerous mails to helpdesk. None of them have beeneiother acknowledged or resolved.
Can you please suggest me how to go about to resolve the issue. It is also to be noted that whenever we call helpdesk they ask for SR number which is not given since not acknowledged.

Thanks Sir. I have been in touch with GST Seva kendra here. They are also not in a position to resolve the issue. However they said they will send the information to GSTN for further assistance

Dear Sir,
Thanks for your responce. We have been in the SEZ since 2003 and named as SEZ unit under TNVAT Act and Central Excise was not required as we are not manufacturing unit. At the time of registration under GST, we had clearly indicated our activity as SEZ and ubnfortunately we got our registration certificate only at theend of September 2017. At that time we were not aware of this issue as we thought there are two categories of deale namely regular and composite. When we were informed by our customer when they filled in the details for GSTR2 ( which was defrred afterwards) that when our GSTIN number was filled it was showing invaid SEZ. This way only the issue had staerted. From then onwards we had been writing numeroud mails and calling the helpdesk, none of them could be responsive.
I hope I have made a clear presentation of issue. Please guide me what to do
