Background facts of Jain Religion :
Every Tirthankar (Jain Lords - in Total 24 of this "Avasarpini Kaal") have conveyed different messages according to the need of the time when they were born.
.
Lord Rushabhdev - The First Tirthankar ( Known as Manu of Vedik Religion) taught 72 "Vidhyas" for man and 64 Kalas (arts) for woman.
.
The ealiest "Kewalgyan" (the ultimate gyan ) could be achieved by Lord Mallinath ( 19th in number ) who got it on the same day of his "Pravrajya i.e. Deeksha."
.
Lord Mahaveer had to face toughest tests for continuous 12.5 years of his Deeksha. He hardly took sleep for some hours during these 12.5 years and he hardly uttered some words during his Saadhna (meditation).
.
What had to be faced by rest 23 jain lords to get "paramgyan" are less in total than faced by Lord Mahaveer.
.
Despite possessing all the Riddhis and Siddhis; he never resorted to show some wonders to the public to attract it.
.
He emphasised only on "Purusharth" to relieve from "Karma-Bandhan."
.
He had 11 main pupils of whom all were Brahmin by caste.
.
According to him : Nobody is lower by caste; he is lower due to his wrong deeds.
.
His main pupil Gautam Gan-dhar asked 36,000 questions the answers of which are still available in Bhagwati-Sutra.
.
He gave the message : JIYO AUR JEENE DO
.
The message looks simple but not easy to follow.
.
A week person can't live according to his desire. Hence the question of just passing the years of life was not raised at all. One has to be strong in all respect - Money, Body and above all Thoughts. Only then he can really live.
.
If you are strong; you can save others and then only the message is JEENE DO really works. Being a strong person; you should not harass week people.
.
A Bhajan was composed by me as under :
.
( Song : Ganga Tera Paani Amrit )
.
Veeram Vande Mahaveer, Bolo Jay Jaykara
Sharna Liya He Hamne Tera, Dil Se Aaj Pukara.

To celebrate Mahaveer Jayanti ( more suitably it should be called as Janma - Kalyanak ) :
.
HAR KAAM EK SAADHNA HAI,
.
U-SE SAADHNA HI HAMARA LAKSHYA HAI.
.
( Every work is a meditation; in every respect we should complete it).
