Causes Of High Birth Rate:

The process of urbanization is slow in india and it has failed to generate social forces which force people to have small families

Pls Explain the above....

In an urban society, people generally have nuclear families. With growing urbanization people get influenced by the urban culture. When they see nuclear families around them and the benefits they reap from having nuclear families, they will tend to have smaller families.

WIth slow pace of urbanization people are not able to see such a culture around them and thus they never get encouraged to have small families.
