one of our company's Resort in Rajasthan not deposited the Luxury Tax for the months April 2011 to November 2011. The Month wise breakup of Luxury tax payable is

| August | 3205.83 |
| September | 5111.39 |
| October | 3522.87 |
| November | 2646.32 |
Kindly let me know what should be the Interest for late payment and what amount should be deposited along with interest.

Dear Mr.Sushil,
First you send the due luxury tax at the earliest by cheque or DD which ever method you adopt..The tax officer will tell you the penalty for the belated payment at the time of completion of assessment.After that you can pay the penalty seperately.You need not wait for all these particulars.The penalty is calculated on the duration of delay.Once the luxury tax is paid your burden is over.
