helo friend..room rent of rs 500 or less - not liable for luxuary tax
but room rent of above rs 500-liable to luxuary tax
and rate of luxury tax is 10%
and if to make ur doubts clear u can ask for form8 which is the luxury tax retuen department form which is issued for each each quarter.take care
