10 years back I purchased 1000 shares of a company. paying 100000/- Rupees. During these years company gave Bonus shares and Now i have 2500 shares. Value of 2500 shares is 687500/- How the LTCG will be calculated ? I am a senior citizan , My annual income is below 5,00,000/- by business. these are not exact values. Should I sale at a time or in phased manner ?

Cost of the shars reduced from sale consideration.indexed cost of acquisition.

No matter when you sell you will have to pay tax and cost of acquisition for bonus shares should be taken as NIL. pls provide details as to how many bonus shares were given in what period
