One of our colleagues has lost his Income Tax File.
There is a procedure to get the copies of returns and other documents from the Income Tax Department.
I want to know the procedure alongwith the relevant provisions of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

in the area of my knowledge no procedure has been specified in the income tax act to gather the lost returns. and my friend i hope u will automatically familiar with the procedure to get the lost returns when u go to the department.
