Loss from NCD due to company insolvency

I invested in DHFL ncd. The company became insolvent.  After 2 years I have received 45% of my investment by way of final settlement announced by national claims tribunal(NCALT) of the company law board (CLB)  Can the loss of 55%  be adjusted against my income from other sources in this year..
