Long term capital loss

Hi Guys,
 
I purchased shares on 25/07/2007 for Rs 46,050 and sold on 01/01/2011 for Rs 3,791.99
and I am in loss for Rs 42,258. My query is whether  can  I show in this financial year 
that is AY 2013- 2014 as a long term capital loss. Please reply.blush

No, beacuse sale is on 01/01/2011 hence loss pertains to A Y 2011 - 12. and you can't show this as a loss of A Y 2013- 2014. According to me its an Dead Loss Now
