I'm looking to form an entity with 4 partners(some of which are foreign). I'm primarily looking at LLP and Pvt Ltd Company. The Capital will be around Rs.8 crores. Please let me know what will be stamp duty on the same under the respective LLP Act and Companies Act.

dear sir,
for company: stamp duty varies from state to state. roc registration fees will be rs. 5,06,000/-.
for LLP: no stamp duty prescribed yet. registration fees will be rs. 5000/-.

1) Does this depend upon authorized share capital or paid-up capital or issued share capital?
2) The Company is to be formed in state of Maharashtra. What is the stamp duty? Is it about Rs.160000?
