There are two option to get in law profession:
1) Joining a reputed law school like national law school of india.
2) By Joining any other law college approved by bar councils of india.
If you want join reputed law school you need to write entrance exams to get seat in the reputed law school.
But if you want to join any other law college based on your qualification like through PUC/Class 12th you have to under go 5 years training.
through Degree like BA/BSc/BCom you can join for 3 year law course offered by different university and approved by bar councils of india. And you don't need to write entrance exams.
Conclusion: If you want to practice as solicitor/advocate you better join some reputed law college/school.
Best Wishes &Regards.
