what are the disadvantages of not linking aadhar with PAN.?

The disadvantage is that your PAN card will be de-activated from 1-10-2019
Thereafter you can use Aadhar card instead of PAN. You can file return also with aadhar number.
And then CPC will automatically issue new PAN card with new number based on aadhar.
