IF
1). In case of business
if PGBP is more than Rs 1,20,000
OR
Total sales/gross receipt is more than
Rs. 10,00,000in any of the 3 year
preceding the PY or likely to exceed in
case of newly setup business.

And

2). In case of profession gross receipt is
more than Rs. 1,50,000 in any of the 3
year preceding the PY or likely to
exceed in case of newly setup .

then assesse compulsorily need to maintain books of accounts .
