can a sahukari licence be transferred in others name?
for e.g. suppose it was in the name of mr.X can it be transferred in the name of mrs.X (wife), being a legal heir.

Cannot be transeffered, but request with new application in favour of wife, along with surrender of husband's license is considered on preferential basis.

is it true that now sahukari licence are not being issued anymore?
coz I have heard that govt. has changed the norms and banned the new issue of sahukari licence 5-6 months back..

Yes, after chit fund scams many states have banned such licenses.

Please check with local administrator, some option to existing licensee may be available.
