The Taxable serices of the assessee exceeds Rs.9,00,000/- in the month of december... for the FY 09-10 and the assessee has registered under Service Tax Act... now is the assessee liable to pay ST from April or services provided from the date of Registeration???

Now Assessee is Liable to Pay on Service Provided or to be provided (if received in cash) i.e cash basis.
That is In Last here assessee is SSP(small service provider)
so,assessee liable to pay service tax after being cross of amount service provided rs. 10 lacs.
for eg:
if service gone up to rs. 11 lacs.
then he is liable to pay on rs. 11 lacs - 10 lacs = 1 lac
in this year.
& in next year he is liable to pay on full amt of service provided i.e no deduction of amount rs. 10 lacs.
