Can Anyone tell me what is the liability of Dealer in case of Excise duty. What kind of registers or details to be needed nad is Dealerr is liable to submit Excise return. Please tell me in brief.

first stage and second stage excise dealers are laible to get themselves registered .Second stage dealers maintains RG-23D Register as he passes on the entire duty paid first stage dealers maintains RG 23A Part II Registers yes dealers are required to submit excise returns in ER1
