Normal days : 10Am to 5.30Pm If my principal decides to cause trouble 2 me : 10 Am to xxx (Only at 5.30 he will give a work and ask us to finish and go. Dont know when it will finish) During June and August :10AM to 7 pm . On 30/7 or 29/9, 10 am on 30/7 or 29/9 to Eve 5.30 pm of 31/7 or 30/9

One day during the June (Listed company -last date being 30.06.09) we had to sit in the clients office from 9a.m (24.05.09) to 11.30 a.m(25.06.09). But after that leave for the whole day...................

MAX 4.00 AM IN SEPTEMBER 2008,BACK TO OFFICE THE NEXT DAY AT 11.00 AM IN SEPTEMBER AND JULY, THE NORMAL WORKING HOURS ARE 10.30AM TO 12.00 MIDNIGHT. I GET 1250/-P.M FOR THESE WORKING HOURS.

last september i remember comming back home at around 10.00 am in the morning & then back at about 3 p.m. and then again till 10.00 am the subsequent morning.

cant help with sept. issue..... i guess we would understand when we become CA's ourselfz...

IN last Sept 30, 2008 i left my office at 11:45 p.m...

 In September.. we Should Forget that we have  a home..

As per ICAI rules, 35 hours is a maximum time in a week an articled assistant has to work. And in june and september it can be 45 hours per week. If u are working more than that its just about assisting ur sir/principal.And we should remember that this is only training and not our permanent job.There should be a good balance of study and articleship timing.We should to try to convince our sir/principal if he makes us to work more. Even i did somewhere around 11 hours per day in 1st 3 months of articleship and after that i requested my sir and convincesd him. Now i am doing 7 hours per day. This is just my opinion friends. Nice discussion. I just recollecting my last week of september 2008.  

Last September 28th, 29th & 30th i stayed in office itself whole night. Morning i use to go home take bath and i am back.  Even on those three day i use to work till night 2am.  During september last 15 days we used to work from moring 8 to night 11pm. 

But i was not compelled by principle. I worked on my own interest to learn lot and i learned. 

Waiting for this september to learn lot.
