Income tax does not take into matter the legality of business or profession it says that you have to declare your income which is true.
1. Content writing is a valid profession and there is no need to worry about its legality. With respect to Income tax, it is very specific and it must be taxable under the head PGBP and it will be a profession.
2. Whatever the income earned by the person through content writing the same will be subject to tax under the head PGBP. Income Tax does not care about the legality of your profession it only takes into consideration the incomes which are subject to tax.
Please correct me if the above solution has an alternative view.
