legal requirement for a sales office

Hi,

A company wants to open a sales office in three locations in India. They will import/procure goods locally and then export/sale goods locally. Basically they will be doing trading. What are the legal requirements under:

1. Excise act

get dealers registration 

2. Customs act

Not mendatory, you can use your principal office registrations for this purpose, but if u want to avail any lower rate import duty then get registered with local customs house, with records of principal office and branch details.

3. VAT

Get registered under Local Vat act in the state
