Legal heir
We have filed IT return for A.Y 2017-18 in legal heir capacity. We have done all the procedure related to legal heir through ITD portal. For the purpose of claiming refund AO has asked for legal heir certificate(from court). is it necessary for claiming the refund?

Submit a copy of the dame document..
Read it as 'same' and not 'd...'

i have called in cpc they said that your legal heir verfication is pending that's why refund is not issue. when we try to go in local department for legal heir verification he has demanded all this documents. whether his contantion is valid?

If verification is pending, then naturally, the procedure is to be completed. For manual processing the same, whole set of documents are required to be submitted, without which how the local office will process?
