Please help me in this regard
I have joined a CA firm after completion of my CA , there i didnt get any appointment letter and i was assured that my salry would be increased after 3 -4 months afte judging my ability. when after spending more than 5 months i didnt get the increment i asked them to increase they again said to me that they are also thinking of the same but when i got a credit of my next salaxy there is no increment so i decided to wait for clearing of the cheque and left the job without any notice and afterward dropped a mail to them i had left . After nearly 10 days i got a registered post from my employer saying that you are absconding without notice and you should come to office and give the handover otherwise it will be treated as a professional misconduct and the matter will be reported to ICAI
QUERY
whether it really amounts to misconduct
can he complain against me in ICAI
what might be the consequences
what should i do
