aggregate turnover" means the aggregate value of all taxable supplies [excluding the value of inward supplies on which tax is payable by a person on reverse charge basis], exempt supplies, exports of goods or services or both and inter-State supplies of persons having the same Permanent Account Number, to be computed on all India basis but excludes central tax, State tax, Union territory tax, integrated tax and cess

yes you have to pay gst
If both business are proprietary then GST registration is required for both if the aggregate turnover of the business put together crosses the threshold limit of your state. If you have already registrated one business then you need to get a new registration for the other business as the name of business is different.

Hope, this clarifies your query.
Yes you have to pay GST on your supply of Hardware goods. Since you have registered your 1 Business Vertical ( i.e. Jewellery Business ), you need to get registered for your hardware shop as well and pay GST accordingly.

Refer Aggregate Turnover definition as laid down u/s 2(6) of the CGST Act 2017.
good clarification and information
The definition of Business Vertical u/s 2(18) of the CGST Amendment Act 2018 has been omitted.
