Leaving CA

hi , i cleared my ca ipcc group 1 recently ,, it was my fifth time ,i want to leave c.a because all my confidence is down due to attempts , i feel my conceptual knowledge isnt upto a level ,honestly i dont know what to do if not c.a because i never thought about any profession except it , i entered this profession with my choice and forced my parents dont want to do engineering,whenever i cant answer questions i just think , i not the right person for this profession , may be i dont belong to it, so overall confused

Hi Rashmi

It is requested not to leave this course. I can understand your feeling. But I would like to share my personal experience. May 2016 would be my 11th attempt or CA final and in bw this 10 attempt My exemption in SFM has lapsed twice.

So donot loose hope, try try try until you succeed.further if I am not wrong you can also join articleship after clering first group, is yes, please explore this option has it will keep your mind fresh.

Quitting is the easiest option but have you thought about the repercussions of such an act. Will you be able to get back the period which you have invested till date. Have you ever sat and analysed the reasons for your failures ? We do understand the state of mind you are in right now, so by giving up CA and starting your career all over again will that be a easy way forward, pause and ponder, you may realise the reality to some extent.

Dear Rashmi,

I can understand the situation what u r facing now.. and i know the pressure at this situation.. there are somany students facing this situation including me.. my uncle who is a well known practicing CA since 35years.. took 12years to finish CA... but now he is a very famous CA in our place.. don't think that u don't have knowledge. it is somewhat the way we present our knowledge in exam.. we might not be wrong, but some answers which we write in the exam will not be upto the mark.. we should keep on increasing our writing skills so that we can write in better way. Keep trying.. never quit..

dear rashmi छोड देना/भाग जाना बहुत आसान है किन्तु समस्या से लड़ना बहादुरी का काम है । यदि आपका interest किसी औऱ कोर्स में है तो ca से हटना ठीक है किन्तु faliur के कारण हटना बहुत गलत ह में खुद फाइनल में अभी 2 बार रुक हु लेकिन मुझे विस्वास ह की में एक दिन इसे पूरा जरूर करूँगा आपको मेरी सलाह ह की किसी अछे ca techear से सलाह ले अपने exam prepration के लिये और खूब मेहनत करे।

Rashmi after reading above discussion I know that situation is very complicated but dont loose hopes try forcefully and achieve the target and become a C A Rashmi as early as possible

Hi Sister,

Thanks for your patience and joining CA as per your choice.... but quitting in this stage is not better option.. here is only a difference of 3 years articleship.. that is too much time for every students .

Students think within this 3 years they can attain many opportunities apart from CA course.. but they dont believe on self that doing CA is an oppurtinity for us and we are the luckyiest person who take challanges of global scenario.. just believe on self and always keep faith that you are the next coming CA ..

" jaruri nahi safalta ek baar me mile .. ho skta hai kuch better ho hmare liye isliye hum ek baar me clear nae kar paa rahe.. aaj nahi to kal to CA banege .. aur ban ke rahenge ..."

aap ek baar khud analysis kar ke dekho ki CA course join karne se aaj tak aap me kya changes aaya specially from CA environment ..

then you think what you can do now ...

what your status this time not count your attempt.. because after clearing CA nobody ask you how many attempt maam?

now your question is :

if attempts not matter then why Big 4's sees attempts during interview?

Very simple jo ho gya so ho gya wo wapas nae aaa sakta par jo aane wala kal uspar to hum control kar sakte hain... aur haan "practice makes a man perfect"..

So please remove all negative things from your mind and just believe on self, and always say I can , nobody can distrupt me from my goal... and go ahead...

Hi sasanka .I always used to questioned myself if I clear also who would take me after so many attempts. But your uncle is an example to me .thanks a lot
