leave allowed to an article is 1/6 of the period actually served by him . 3.5*365=1278 total days

leave allowed =1278*1/6=213 days.

U will have to calculate 1/6 of the period actually served (excluding holidays) not including them which is 1/7 of the total days which is 1275/7 = 182 days.

However as per institues guidelines as mentioned in the link above maximum leave allowable is 180 days only.

its 180 days...

but for old syllabusi.e. pe II,  i think it was 135 days only RIGHT.

1/6 of actual articalship period served is allowed as a leave that means total working days i .e. 1277 (365*3.5) less total leave taken other than holidays or Sunday then actual served period is comes.

 For PE - II it was 137 days. For us only 1/7 of period served was allowed. So 1095 days divided by 8 = 137
