Hi, This Is Rasika Kubal, I'm a C.A. Final student completing my articleship on 22/12/2010.
For leave calculation i wanted to know , whether the leave taken , by me for my college & C.A. exams , which were not paid.( i.e. i was not paid stipend) Whether the excess leave taken by me is liable for extension???
Hi.., u r allowed to take less than 180 days leave, then for watever reason may it b, whether it b for ur ca exams (excluding ca final exams leave) or any sick leave or any other purpose....
If u take any excess leave then this, that will cause for extension..
1/6th of actual days served.
itt leave n ca examination days will be deemed to be working days else wil be ur leave.so if u worked for 1000 days den eligible leave wil be 1000/6 days=162 days

How worked days are calculated? whether it includes national holidays or not and sundays
Does 180 days leave allowed include non working days also ? ie., suppose if i have taken 3 months leave for an exam , in that should sundays and other holidays be excluded?

No of days leave taken does not include leave taken for ITT and Exam Days. It is even after excess hours served than minimum requirement. Those all are internal calculation.
yes de comes under working days but only ca examination days that is around 13 days are deemed to be working days but not Examination leave
