leave period - articleship

hi all..

i m doing articleship in bangalore... in my firm if i take leave on saturday and monday, then sunday is also being counted as leave...

i took 3 months leave for PCE recently and of that 12 days are sundays only :(

can anybody tell me whether this is as per the institute norms or not...

i dont want to work extra in the end man ... :( :(

The sundays are NOT to be counted. Only working days are to be counted.

           As per the Rules and Regulations of ICAI regarding articleship an article student is required to work for not more than 35 hours a week.
            Sunday is a holiday as per norms. Thus it shall not be counted in leave. Monday and Saturday will be counted as leave. just remenber one thing that always maintain very peace relationship with your Boss.
