LEAST marks in Audit and Law even for Top 3 Rankers of Nov17

Hi friends, I was really shattered to see the marks i scored in Audit & Law for CA Final Nov2017

I got marks much less than i expected. It is not that this was my first attempt , so i know the way the marks are given.

Even allof the friends i contacted have got marks much lesser than they expected in Audit & Law.

I just observed that even the Top 3 Rankers of Nov 17 have got "LEAST MARKS" in Audit & Law in comparison to their marks in other subjects

Has this something to do with Strict Paper Correction ?

or is that the Paper was Tough ?

or something else ?

Please Help ... Feeling Depressed.

My friend got exemption in audit though she is not a topper...it takes a lot of hard work,practice and proper presentation skills to get the desired marks in audit and law.. institute never give easy marks in these papers

Reality is that we complete practical papers first and then go for theory.
But this is a wrong strategy now days,as we have to give equal importance to all the subjects now days.
Thus main solution is devote equal time to practical and theory subjects both.
This is a key to success in all the papers.

I got exactly 60 in audit this time, considering a meagre 37 that I had got in May. My areas of focus were 4 topics- pe,co audit,standards and tax audit...other topics I just read.

i failed in Audit. Was expecting above 50 .

Even in may17 when i bought the Certified Copies i was shocked to see that they had given random 1 or 2 marks out of 4mrks for every answer irrespective of the quality of answers. I had used the language given in the study material itself ,but they just seem to give random low marks. Very disappointed.
