Late submission of tds return

Dear All

I have submitted TDS return lately and got notice from dept and on that basis I have deposited Interest & Penalty also. Now what is the next process.

Hi Jayanta,

As you told that you are done with paying the late filing fee along with the interest. So, I am sure you did this using Challan no./ITNS 281.

Now, after this, you need to file the correctional statement.

For correctional statement, you need to download the file from TRACES website after logging into your account.

Now, update the challan details there and refile the return. It will basically be revision to original return with challan detail updation.
