Late filling of income tax return refund

Dear friends, One of my client who is not filled Income tax return from AY_2013-14 to 2015-16 and each year he has refund as per form 16.pls tell me,can he get refund on late filling of income tax refund?? if yes, pls tell me how many years he can get refund??
