For one of our client(proprietor), i have filed Form 3CB,3CD & Income tax return on 7/10/13. In Form 3CB i have taken audit report date as 7/10/13 instead of 30/9/13.
Would it be a problem? Will any penalty be attracted?

if we file the tax audit report after 30.09 then it will break the income tax rule for which penalty of .25% of the turnover will arise.

if we file the return after 30.09 the there is no problem but only called it belated return which will not get revised after it if any mistake occurs.
