Guys, if a small taxpayer filed his return after December then what's the penalty amount?
Is it 1000 at any time after July 31st till march end ??

Penalty levied based on income and it's values...
Not based on Small taxpayers or Big Taxpayers or Very Big Taxpayers....

absolutely, small taxpayer mean those assessee whose total income doesn't exceed 5lacs for my above context.
