What is late filing fee for composition dealers for return period july 2017 to till date

As per section 47 of CGST Act,2017 ,late fees is Rs 100 (CGST) and Rs 100 (SGST) i.e Total Rs 200 per day but subject to maximum Rs 5,000

Section 47 late fees covers return mentioned in section 39 of CGST Act,2017

Scetion 39 of CGST Act,2017 covers return of composite dealers (i.e GSTR-4 and GST CMP-08)

so your late fees will be maximum Rs 5,000 per return.

As per notification 73/2017 there is a reduced penalty of 50 per day in case of liability and in case of no liability 20 per day
Is it not valid now??

T/o less than 5cr July 17 to jan 17 max 500 per month
