Dear Sir, Maximum penalty for late filing of GSTR-3B is Rs.5,000/-. How can i bifurcate the same under CGST and SGST. My penalty for oct month of 5600/- Please explain how should i pay by bifurcating CGST and SGST?

As there was a clarifications that the amount charged as a late fees for August Return will be waived off and no late fees will be charged for August and September month return

First , please clear for which month you are talking August or October
For Aug late fees is waived. Form october onwards late fees is 50Rs per day (25/-CGST 25/- SGST) for non-nil returns
and for nil returns fees is 20/- per day.

My output GST is Rs. 11872/- and my Input GST is 29716/- for October -17 month. I am filing return today. Is t required to pay interest on output GST because of late filing eventhoug Input is available.
