I paid the late fees in penalty head of the challan. how will I discharge the tax liability. I m unable to offset the liability. how to solve

No way for adjustment from Penalty to FEE (late) head...
You ll pay again in late fee...


Also you claim the penalty payment...

First of you pay the exact amount (late fee in "FEE" head)....

Also the refund process not yet started. Wait on its availability then you can claim refund...

I have done the payment again through the Fee Column, if you can, please tell me will I even get the refund or is non-refundable in your opinion? and thanks for your reply.

Yes... You can get refund 100% sure. Wait on further notifications for available refund options...

Pay same amount under fee head. And send a mail to CBEC for refund.
