My Client is small bushiness man some more unexpected reasons he not return the 3B from July now the total late fee comes around 35000 thousand but he have not wealth to pay the late fee what is solution

u have to pay late fee either for further filing of returns or cancellation of registration

Any way you can file your returns till sep17 without late fee then later on with Rs50 per day for normal case and Rs 20 per day for nil returns.
I don't think that gst department accepts the cancellation request without clearing the pending liabilities.

Suppose a dealer has requested for cancellation request. Then, what will be the amount of Late fee payable ?
Option 1 : From the date of registration to the actual date of filing of returns
Option 2 : From the date of registration to the date of request made for cancellation ?
Pls advice.
