its a very.......................very old news now.
Old news? Read it carefully mate. it says those who have exhausted 5 attempts are also eligible to do it, which was not the case earlier. The earlier amendment was only for the benefit of those who had not exhausted the limit, and had faced problems because they had started the course after graduation only.

i agree Guest5623, its really a gr8 news.
so many people will benefit frm the same. ICAI is showing some genuine concern for students. i hope those people havnt had themselves shifted to PCC already. anyways, congrats to all who will b able to avail this opportunity.
I agree. The fact is that when people try to balance PE II with college work, they tend to skip one or two attempts even after getting EC due to second year or terminal exams, and then suddenly the marking is tough and they are left with one or two attempts to stay in the CA course. So they deserve just as much benefit as the ones who adopted CA PE 2 after graduation. I know many such cases, and they are neither dulll nor lazy. Intelligent and diligent students will benefit from this.

Does it apply to 1) all PE2 students who have passed Foundation/Entrance/PE1 exams who have exhausted their attempts irrespective of when their attempts have been exhausted OR, 2) Only those PE1/Foundation/Entrance students whose attempts have been exhausted in May 08. |
